Amanda Patterson Crowe

Executive Director

Amanda received a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Administrative Studies from Missouri State University. While in graduate school, Amanda joined the Navy Reserve. The training she received from the Navy led to 8 years working in a variety of defense contracting positions. Through these positions, Amanda enhanced her skills in research, writing, analysis and team management.

After an 8-month Navy deployment to the Horn of Africa, Amanda settled with her husband in Virginia Beach, VA. During her time there, she served as Ombudsman for her husband’s department and developed a passion for assisting military spouses and their families. Amanda says she feels privileged to have found In Gear Career and the ability to pursue a career path that merges her professional experiences with her passion to help military spouses. Amanda now lives in Tampa, FL with her husband, son and German Shepherd.
