I read about this and would LOVE to apply, but again...it would dictate where we live and as a USMC spouse, I am not able to move. We are stationed where the Marine Corps sends us. I could put my career first and move but with two young sons I can't…

I am hopeful this will make a real impact, but again...the focus does not appear to be on professional careers. No matter....I am happy to see some focus on the issue of jobs for military spouses.

It is not particular to the military but I facilitate courses online for PBS Teacher Line. I can work from home and it has been wonderful!

It would be pretty hard to replace a spouse. That is someone who is in the home with you and that makes a balance easier to achieve. Small things can be done like deployment respite care (I took part and it was wonderful) but short of offering free…

I would like to hope there would be some focus on professional spouses. There has not been much to this point and it saddens me. I am like any other military spouse..I face the same issues. I just happen to hold a Masters degree :)
