Position: National Marketing Specialist

Location: Annapolis, MD or Herndon, VA

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the National Marketing Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Social media content/campaign development and management
• Write copy and design graphics for social media and marketing campaigns
• Monitor and enhance user engagement on social channels
• Research on marketing and social media trends
• Website content management
• Write and distribute national press releases
• Analyze marketing reports to stay apprised of rent and marketing trends
• Develop, track, and analyze different advertising mediums
• Manage vendor relationships

Requirements:

Candidates for the position of National Marketing Specialist should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Very Knowledgeable about Social Media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Blogs etc.)
• Experience managing social media channels/campaigns for a brand
• 1+ year of marketing experience or degree in marketing/communications
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in on-site property management/leasingAttention to detail and the ability to always follow through on projects
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must show initiative, creativity, and ability to work independently or in team settings

Education: A high school education or equivalent is required (college degree preferred)
