Position: National Marketing Specialist
Location: Annapolis, MD or Herndon, VA
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the National Marketing Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Social media content/campaign development and management
- Write copy and design graphics for social media and marketing campaigns
- Monitor and enhance user engagement on social channels
- Research on marketing and social media trends
- Website content management
- Write and distribute national press releases
- Analyze marketing reports to stay apprised of rent and marketing trends
- Develop, track, and analyze different advertising mediums
- Manage vendor relationships
Requirements:
Candidates for the position of National Marketing Specialist should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Very Knowledgeable about Social Media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Blogs etc.)
- Experience managing social media channels/campaigns for a brand
- 1+ year of marketing experience or degree in marketing/communications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in on-site property management/leasingAttention to detail and the ability to always follow through on projects
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must show initiative, creativity, and ability to work independently or in team settings
Education: A high school education or equivalent is required (college degree preferred)
