Hi all! I have been a high school history teacher for 6 years in SC, and upon moving to DC, I have been unable to find a teaching job. We move to West Point, NY next year, and I'm sincerely hoping to get into the classroom again. I am certified in social studies and English (in SC and VA) and have a Master's in Shakespeare and am currently working on a Master's in Education. I hear that getting certified in NY is very difficult. I would greatly appreciate any advice on getting certified and also getting a teaching job in NY near West Point! :)
