The territory is a 50 mile radius from your home zip code. There is no overnight travel, no evenings and no weekends.

Nomades is seeking a military member or military spouse to construct charm boards for their consultants on an as-needed basis. All materials will be provided for this project and only minor assembly is required. The boards would need to be assembled in bundles of possibly 100 at a time, potentially several times per year.

In Gear Career for Military Spouses - 2013 Annual Report

2013 has been a year of much progress and growth for In Gear Career! We have grown from 4 to 20 active or developing chapters, and have several additional leads interested in bringing chapters to their locations.

2013 also provided the opportunity for In Gear Career to create relationships with a number of organizations and employers excited about hiring military spouse professionals. Through these relationships we have been able to offer direct introductions between qualified military spouses and representatives from the organizations looking to hire them. These direct connections are what truly separate the efforts of In Gear Career from any other military spouse employment organization!

Relationships with other Military Spouse organizations such as NextGen MilSpouse, Military Spouse CEO Experience, Military Spouse JD Network and The Rosie Network have allowed In Gear Career to increase our exposure in the military spouse population and therefore increase the reaches of our efforts.

As we enter 2014 we will actively pursue sponsorship and relationships with additional organizations that will allow us to continue offering great programs to military spouse populations across the country and the world. DoD Sales Account Manager Needed for Leading Defense Firm

Executive Search firm Equity Corps is looking to hire a DoD Account Manager - West for its client’s (an established Defense & Law Enforcement Technology business with $200 Million Revenue and 40+ Years in Business) Tier One Mission Gear business (TTL; ISR; RF; SATCOM; CIP) in the West Region.

 

The ideal candidate has:

  • A track record of driving growth in technical products sales in the Western SMU space and is mission driven
  • A strong working knowledge of the Western Tier One market (NORTHCOM//NSWC)
  • An intimate understanding of end users and the challenges they face
  • A proven ability to discover and solve end user challenges with unique integrated technical solutions
  • The interpersonal skill to work effectively in a complex, matrixed corporate environment, and is highly motivated to grow a business

Military Spouses Sought for UPS Sales Positions in San Antonio

San Antonio-area Military Spouses:

 

UPS currently has 30-35 Inside Sales Representative (ISR) positions in their growing business development team that need to be filled by the end of February, and they are looking to hire qualified military spouses!

 
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for retaining and growing UPS Small Package customer business. He/she uses available resources to learn customers’ businesses, identify business needs, and proactively contact customers to position UPS’s Small Package products and services to meet their needs. This position is responsible for prioritizing customer opportunities and focusing attention on accounts with the greatest opportunity and likelihood of success. The ISR also creates contacts, monitors contractual compliance, and answers customer questions.

The primary focus of this position is to plan and conduct sales calls to address customer needs, sell additional products and services, retain current business, and follow up on leads. This position builds relationships with key decision makers and acts as a customer advocate. The ISR researches competitors’ strategies and offerings, and uses product knowledge to generate solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives. Pre-call duties include using automated sales tools to perform research into customers’ businesses and account information in order to develop appropriate selling and pricing strategies.

This position does not require any previous sales experience so it is a great entry-level position for someone that is interested in a career in sales. UPS will provide six weeks of paid training at their Sales Academy sites located in San Antonio, Texas.
